Mafia

Strengths: You can go just about anywere you want in the city, and do anything you want. Very realistic in my opinion. The cars handle very well. BEST STORY LINE EVER!!!

Weakness: Limited weapons although they are very kool. Graphics are pretty bad when actually playing. Aiming the gun is quite difficult.

Great all around game defientely recomend buying it. It is well worth the money. Don't buy it for anymore than $40 though. THere is also a lot of missions so u can litterally spend weeks even a month or two trying to beat it. It really makes you wanna join the mofia. :)

Mafia PS2

Strengths: NONE

Weakness: Graphics, gameplay, everything else

This game is awful. I didn't like it one bit, the driving is pathetic. It just doesn't feel right with the controller, the turning seems off and the crashing looks REALLY stupid. The movies are boring, and there is barely a story line, don't buy this one.

Not GTA.

Strengths: Excellent story

Weakness: Poor graphics and controls.

This is a fine example of a PC to PS2 port of a game should not be done. Basically this is a GTA clone with gangsters, but it lacks polish and feels unfinished. Playing as Tommy Angelo is best during gun fights, but most of the time the controls make the rest of the game frustrating. Since the game story is so good, I found the game playable, but I would not replay it. This is a good rental at...

Not a GTA clone

Strengths: Mission based gameplay works in this game.

Weakness: The texture used on the buildings in the driving parts are ugly.

First of all, this game is not a Grand Theft Auto clone. It plays more like the Getaway. The "levels" are mission based so the gameplay is more linear in some respects. I liked this game more than GTA: Vice City. Sure it doesn't have the "free roaming" like Grand Theft Auto but the game world seemed more real and lively than the one in GTA. The sound effects, voice work, the detail in the...

The Godfather

Strengths: Great mob game! Like Grand theft auto kind of gameplay

Weakness: none

This is the best mob game I have played so far. It has great gameplay just like grand theft auto series. Realistic as possible. You can go anywhere on the map and do not need to wait for the maps to be unlocked. For the price I payed of $10, I cannot go wrong.

An offer you can refuse

Strengths: Violent content in the vein of The Godfather, decent graphics.

Weakness: Grand Theft Auto is better in almost every way, EA's bringing the REAL Godfather to consoles soon.

Mafia is one of those games trying to ride on the coattails of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series. In fact, its publisher Gathering is owned by the same company. Like GTA, Mafia features some gory gunplay and vehicle sequences. It just doesn't have the production qualities or personality of the popular series. Now that you can get the GTA games super cheap, this one isn't as much of a bargain as...

Mafia

Strengths: Good cutscenes, voice acting and camera angles

Weakness: Bad graphics and mediocre gameplay

Mafia for the PS2 is a very average game. The game seems like it aspires to be another Grand Theft Auto, but it falls well short of that goal. It is a decent game if you enjoyed the Grand Theft Auto series, but it really pales in comparison if you're looking for the same gameplay. The game has good cutscenes, appropriate and well-done voice acting, and the camera angles are helpful to the game....

Mafia

When Mafia was released on the PC in the late summer of 2002, it offered a deep, involving story, gorgeous graphics, and extremely authentic driving and became the sleeper hit of the summer. Now, the game is hitting consoles, first on the PS2 and then the Xbox (the Xbox version is set to come out next month). The PS2 version still retains much of the atmosphere of the PC game. However, it falls...

Mafia

In 2002, Take-Two released a period-piece action-driving game by the name of Mafia. The game offered PC gamers a beautiful, well-organized and engaging story about an ordinary guy swept up in the Italian Mafioso lifestyle. That game was tough, perhaps titled a little toward the hard side of games, but it captured gamers' imaginations because, despite the natural comparisons to the Grand Theft...
